A female Ireland age 30-35, *hadowre writes:

Recently, I have been taking painkillers, like a mixture of paracetamol and nurofen. I'd take as many as 5-9. I get really unwell, and might even throw up. But now I am taking them because they make me sleep. Is what I'm doing bad? How does it affect me long term.

Um yeah, that is very bad for you! You need to stop now!! I'm a biochemist, and I won't go into all the details but it's very bad for your stomach and other organs. Maybe go to the doctor and get some sleeping pills, so that you'll be able to take the prescribed dose and get some sleep. Or talk to someone about why you can't sleep at all...
