A female Mauritius age 36-40, *yrop writes:

Its been a year since i have noticed that i have got some fungus growing on my skin. at first i did not take it into consideration thinking that it will go away. A relative told me that he too got this sort of problem and it was due to exposure to sunlight and that with time it shall go.

however, some 2 months back i found that its spreading all over my hand. i decided to consult a pharmacist and he has given me a sort of powder to use. Eventually i find that its becoming pale meaning its showing sign of going.

Now there's another pharmacist nearby my house. he is known for a money eater. i used to go there to buy medecines for my dad. today i went and as he noticed the fungus he told me that he though am having some blood problems. and that i need to get myself tested. Once the result is out, then he will tell me what medecine i need to consume.

NOw my question is that :-

1. Is he right?

2. Whats the connection of fungus and blood problem?

3. Is he doing it purposely so that i buy more medecines at his place?

4. Also blood problem is linked to irregular mense and weakness. but i don't have weakness problem and i get my mense regular. Could i have blood problem in this case?

5. Ultimately, how can someone deduce by just seeing you that you have blood problem? apart from that fungus i can't see any visible problem like my skin are perfectly fine, my eyes don't have conjunctivitis,...

You need to go see a doctor, not a pharmacist. Go to your doctor and get a treatment prescribed. That's that. Forget about what anyone else says and just go the doctor.

Chemists and family members aren't qualified to make a diagnosis and this could be a serious condition, so go get checked out.

sammi star agony auntI don't think anyone on here can give you an answer to a medical problem. If you don't want to be ripped off then see a dostor and determine what it is once and for all.

dmartin89 agony auntThis isn't really a question for a sex and relationship site is it? But I will give you the right answer anyway..

Due to the spreading nature of the skin fungus it is very possible that you have a problem with your immune system.

You don't get a fungus from sun exposure. If it goes away and stays away with this power, then you are probably fine.

However if it comes back, that is bad because your body should be able to fight it off itself.

This could be a sign of a serious problem with your body's defence against antigens and bad bacteria. i.e. leukaemia

It is IMPORTANT that you get a blood test to see if you have enough white blood cells and lymphocytes/phagocytes

A skin fungus/blood problem has nothing to do with your menstrual cycle.

Get the blood test, if there is something wrong, taking a medicine isn't going to fix it.

If this power clears it up then there is nothing wrong with you.
