Love is when you trust and care for someone. Fancying someone means that you can't stop thinking about them (like you said). I think that you have elements of both in what you've said but believe me, you'll know yourself whether you are in love or not.

 Somehow when you fall in love for the first time you just know it without question. I can't explain the feeling because quite honestly it's the best and worst feeling in the world but both at the same time. I think you like your boyfriend very much but when it's love you'll just know.

 its easy for me if he is the first thing you think of when you wake and the last thing when you go to sleep its love honey. every time you hay good bye is it like your letting your heart die and when you see him your whole body lights up its love.
