If you have concerns about your period, then you should seek the advice of a medical doctor. It is not uncommon for a woman to be irregular with her periods. Is it normal, well no, or they would not call it irregular. Is it common, yes....for different medical reasons.
It is always best to start getting routine exams with an ob gyn or a medical doctor who does well woman pelvic exams, you aren not too young to start this. It is important to learn about your body and how to take care of your reproductive life. What better place to do that than with a doctor.
