reader, anonymous, writes (2 October 2009): It's not so odd. I didn't realise what an orgasm was until I was about 19 (a long time ago now). Sex is not really openly talked about with those close to us so don't feel bad about needing some answers from a forum like this. Yes it sounds like an orgasm alright and yes it's fine for the muscles to spasm. Enjoy!
