 It is a trend, yes... but not a new one. Younger guys have been attracted older, more mature women for a long time... it's only recently become more culturally accepted due to more public displays of it in the movies and in real life (Demi Moore, Ashton Kutcher)
It's not as heartless as "just sex" like some people make it out to be. Yes, you may not be soul mates or getting married, but it can be a way for a guy to be with a women not as immature as a lot of women can be in their 20's, and it's a way for older women to be with guys who are more sexually active with more stamina willing to be taught a few things.
If you are looking for somebody to marry, have kids, and grow old with... the younger 20 somethings may not be what you are looking for. (there are exceptions to every rule of course) But if you are open to having a fun, no pressure relationship with quite possibly some of the best love making in your life.... then you might want to consider a relationship like that.

Yes,most of the guys are looking just for a casual sexual experience. Not all of them, of course - it may sound strange but there ARE guys in their 20s that prefer older women for their self confidence,mental maturity, life experience etc. so they won't be looking just for a one night stand but also for friendship companionship and emotional intimacy. Said that- unless you are Demi Moore you can't really expect to build something committed and long lasting with a guy half your age. But if you are able to enjoy the travel without worrying about the destination ( or aking yourself if there will be any destination )- then it may be a very fulfillling, rewarding experience.
