hows it goin

my best friend is a girl and i have known her all my life, we have gone to the same school with eachother since kindergarden and im not in college at a local community college and hang out with her. we used to hang out alot, then stoped and now started again. i have always been confused on wiether i like her or not because weve been friends. and when my other best friend at the time, who is a guy, was dating her it was clear to me that we were freinds i even helped try and hook them up. alot has happend since then and me and the guy who used to be my best friedn havent hung out in about a year. and ive just been hanging out with the girl. i cant tell now weither she likes me, i like her, i dont like her, i love her, she loves me, if i do like her but just want to be friends because im scared to tell her, idk its all so fucking confusing that i just dont give a shit and enjoy the time i have with her. she is bi sexual too so we talk about girls alot. and it doesnt seem to bother her much when i talk about girls but when she talks about guys i feel awkard..cant really describe it, kinda like i care that shes saying it to me, but i dont care that shes thinking it feeling. we both have been terrible with relationships in the past if that has anything to do with it too. idk cuz like when we went out to eat one time she seemed into me and said this is where you take a girl for a date, and keeps saying things like this is romantic and this park is beautiful, but the next day shes like one of the guys. i just cant get a read on her!

any advice? haha sry been holding that in for years and thought i should ask you guys.

tennisstar88 agony auntWoah buddy!

If you guys get drunk and then something happens isn't a good way to start out. Now, if she wants girls this month then there's nothing you can do about it..Just wait another 3-4 months till she prefers guys.

A female reader, tennisstar88 United States +, writes (16 February 2011):

tennisstar88 agony auntFirst off you're not even sure if you like her as friends or more. You need to figure that part out.

Secondly, she's bisexual so you need to get to know her a bit better and ask her which one she prefers. Does she lean more towards the males or females at the moment? Bisexuals like to have their cake and eat it too, but they usually favor one sex more than the other.

Now, if she prefers males then you need to confess (if you have them) your feelings for her. From your post alone, it just sounds like you guys are friends. However, if she digs chicks at the moment then it's just best to keep it as friends.
