writes:Hi, this is abit of a up front question and it's quite embarrassing but i wondered is Semen suposed to be fully white might has never been really white more of a clear colour also i seem to always need to goto the toilet once i've had sex or ejaculated. Another question i have is that im not sure if i can have kids as i was with my ex girlfriend for 2yrs and we didn't use contraception for like 1yr 6months and she never fell pregnant, i wondered if the colour of my semen could be something to do with me not being able to have kids. I'm really worried but don't want to goto the doctor a) because he'll think i'm too young to think about kids, b) because i worry if i take a semen test it turns out that i'm not producing semen or something that could be very embarrassing when he tells me. I've been worried about this for so long thankyou.

reader, anonymous, writes (15 February 2007): well as for the colour of seman im going on personal experience my boyfriends starts of white and after a few go's his goes nearly clear. And yes it does mean less sperm. Thats only because we have sex more than once and have used up reserves not yet replenished! But the only thing you can really do is see a doc. As for fertility its also in the docs hands. Sorry.
