 I agree with the other person who has replied to this, don't read too much into this. I know that your feelings can sometimes get the better of you, trust me i've been there. But just be careful. The internet and penpals and things are a whole different world to reality. I'm not saying it couldn't work out :D I'm just saying don't get too involved because people are a lot more flirty on the internet and to penpals and things. Reality is so much harder, to hold a conversation and make it flow in reality, you have to have things in common. When you meet just make sure you're in a safe place. Have fun and hopefully you'll make the right decisions.

Hi there. It probably doesn't mean too much.
What it probably does mean, is that he is trying to not get too involved, in case it doesn't work out. So he doesn't get hurt.
It seems like he is keeping it light and fun.
So just take it that way, and don't read too much into it.
Just wait and see how it goes when you meet.
And in the meantime, just enjoy his company.
