My fiance received a text message on his phone number that was from an non recipient email address for him to veiw a web cam he says he has no idea how it happened because he hasn't been on any porn sites or signed up for any dating sites is he lying or can that really happen out of nowhere

Honeypie agony auntIf he has something like "snap-chat" on his phone the SMS's can be from there. It can be that he NEEDS to update his divers on his phone with the LATEST security apps because it MIGHT be malicious malware.

It can be that a friend's phone was hacked or a friend sent him a link that he opened and IF he opened it... he will keep getting them.

So yeah, it CAN be that he didn't sign up for anything... but... it can also be that he did.

If you two share bank account you can always check and see if there are any payments for web-cam "services"...
