writes:ok I have a question concerning me and my girlfriend. I am 18 and she is 14. was a big surprise for me when i found out she was 14 when she looks and acts around 16. and I was wondering is it extremely wrong for me to date her? I like her a ton.....(going out for 6 days now)she used to drink/drugs/smoke/. but has not been on anything for a good 5 months now. drugs for over a year. And i seriously think with her past of jerks and assholes and people only using her to try and get into her pants{, succeeding on several occasions,} that she should get a chance with someone who has some respect for her who actually wants to go out with her because of "her" not her boobs/butt or cause she's said to be easy.(I know that sounds like I'm just building myself up, but I am not just truthful, I have a massive respect for women and their body and privacy and so on) But I am wondering if it is wrong for me to go out with her? I understand a serious moral and legal boundary with having sex with her, and I have no plans of it anyways so you dont need to tell me about how i can get into trouble with law and what not.....I have been told and have researched what legal boundaries there are and what can happen if i seriously piss her off and she says i did something. just some of your thoughts on this......she means quite a bit to me.....but yea thanks 4 ur time

 I think it's fine for you to go out with her and be in a relationship. I don't think it's illegal. Like you said, the only bad thing about the relationship, would be if you were to have sex with her. You seem like a decent person and you seem to respect the law.I say go for it. Good luck x

 good on you for having respect wish their was more men out their like that to be honest..well it can depend on the state you live in i guess which you havent mentioned but in theory it should be ok for you to date he aslong as their is no intercourse.. ie hugging and kissing would be fine..although if she was to cry wolf saying u had sex they could believe her whether it was true or not..it all depends on how you think of her would she do something like that ? some people might not be happy about the two of you having a relationship ie the 18 - 14 but if you think in the future 18 - 22 not so bad looking huh...age is a number. if your both happy to be together and not doing things illegal then the only problem you should have is what other people may think but in the end do you care what people say? hope that helps aphexy xx

i think its a little wrong.. i mean if HER parents are ok with it, i say go for it, but i know my little sister who is 16, was sneaking around with a 23 year old. and that made me mad as hell... but if her parents are ok, (which they probably wont be) it would probably be ok. but if i were you, i would stay away.. (get it?)
