How do i know if it is worth trying again with my relationship?

I am in the process of splitting with my girlfriend of 6 years! In the begining we were amazingly intense and together, over the past year we are really having troubles, since living together we have struggled to get on together. We just don't comunicate any longer and have gotten to the point so many times were we are going to finish it, and its happened so many times that I think this time it looks like its over. We are both hurting a lot as we do still love each other, but is that enough for us to be able to make it work?

You need more than love to keep a relationship alive.

Communication, trust, understanding and generally getting along well are vital. If you feel that any of these are lacking in your relationship, then, perhaps it is not working.
