writes:I have a few questions about my situation with my bf and love. Should I tell my bf I love him for the first time and if so, how do I go about doing it? How do I know if he truly does love me? Why hasnt he said he loves me yet? My bf who is 25 and myself 21, have been together for 7 months now and I love him and want to tell him this, but part of me is afraid. What if I freak him out? What if he doesnt feel the same way, but says it back just to be polite? Or what if he doesnt feel the same way and goes blank and says nothing? I dont know what to do. I keep wondering why he hasnt said it yet. Part of me wants to wait for him to say it first but then i think what if hes waiting for me to first say it...then we will both be waiting forever.Hes only had 1 other gf previous to me. They dated for 3 months and he said he loved her. So why hasnt he said it to me yet when we have been together for 7 months already? Ive met all his family and spent alot of time with them, where as his ex never even met his family.

talk about it hypothetically, but if your relationship with him is as good as you think, whether he is sure of his feelings or isnt ready to tell you, it wont send him away. When my bf told me that he loved me, i didnt say it in return. He accepted that and told me that when was sure to let him know. eventually, i did through a poem that i wrote. it was very cute.
and if he does get weirded out, then maybe he isnt the man that you think he is.
