missaqua777 is verified as being by the original poster of the question lol, oh dear. but friends-WHAT if i have the gut instinct that he's not gay and he claims he is ... i dont know im a bit crazy and i like to believe the impossible that i can change stuff that supposedly shoudnt be changed im sorry guys but im not convinced... :)

sorry, despite what the moral marjority would have us believe, being gay is not a condition.
So you cant just turn a gay guy straight.
Personally I'm glad, I would hate to see a bunch of good looking blokes with six pack abs who like shopping suddenly competing against the stragiht blokes :)

 My husband's friend 'was' gay...he lived with a male partner and actively chased men in clubs etc...then he changed his mind, got married (to a lady) and now has a child. I think in his case he must have been bisexual and his wife understands his past and accepts it. I don't think a 100% gay man would find a woman attractive really and I don't think it is fair to try and change them into something they are not. They won't see being gay as a mistake. However, there are lots of bisexual men (+women) out there and it is possible the man you have your eyes set on falls into this category...only he really knows his own sexuality after all!

 I am not an expert on this but I will do my best.
Being gay is not usually a choice. Most of the time when they "realize" they are gay, it is because they have tried to be something they are not and no matter who they with, even if its the nicest person in the world, there is ALWAYS something missing.
You can not convert a gay guy. I believe they are born gay and always will be gay.
The only time they make a "mistake" is possibly when they try being with someone of the same sex and figure out that they are indeed NOT gay. I think this is rather the exception rather than the rule.
If you like a gay guy, he could be your best friend. But not your lover, sorry.
