Is it normal that I need at least an hour before I can get another erection?

A male United Kingdom age 51-59, anonymous writes:

Hi

Im with a new partner now, and things are going well.

However, she is very demanding in the bedroom.

When ive orgasmed i need at least an hour before i can get another erection, if weve had lots of sex the night before it might be two hours.

Obviously i do other things for her, plenty of kissing/foreplay etc...but my partner thinks it strange that after sex i cant get hard for at least an hour.

Im in my thirties and fairly healthy- and thought this was completely normal? but now im not too sure?

Thanks

It can be at your age. It might be worth talking to the doctor about it though, just in case there's anything wrong. I'm sure there's nothing wrong.
