Question - (8 February 2010) 1 Answers - (Newest, 8 February 2010)
A male United Kingdom age 36-40, anonymous writes:

Ok, I lied to my girlfreind and it hurt her. She asked me to give her space, but because I was hurtng bad and missing her, stupid me sent her lots of texts to her too much trying to explain things to her and apoligising. This lasted for two weeks, I have stopped now.

In the third week she asked me to send her an email explaining things, i sent it.

The response was not good, she said if i had given her space it would shown my respect for her much more than a text or email could. She also said if she had sapce she could have looked at the email objectivly and with a clear head. She did however say we could make the most of the freindship and she would call me somtimes.

To be honest I am more than happy with rebuilding the freindship, we had been very close freinds before we dated and I would be happy to regain that.

Do you think it is too little too late to give space now? I have managed to calm my emotions. Is it ever too late to give space?
