Is being a virgin a turn off for guys?

Hi:)

I am 18 and a half and I was wondering if guys think that being a virgin is a turn off.

Lately my friends tease me, especially my male friends when they find out the truth.

One male friend (23y old) even told me that I should get rid of the problem because no one likes a girl who doesn't know to do anything in bed.

I don't plan to be a virgin until 30, or until I'm married and I don't fantasize about finding the one before I'm 20 because I like to be reasonable, I'm not ugly or anything similar and having bf's was never a problem but I would like my first time to be with someone I care and cares about me and makes me feel comfortable.

[ I had relationships until now but I just didn't feel like the time/person was right]

So if I would like to remain a virgin at least until I'm 20, will guys see it as a turn off?

thank you for reading

With all the questions about girlfriends who have had more sexual partners than them, I think many guys consider it as a turn on. When it comes to that the stereotype plays out in a woman's advantage: for a guy it's not cool if he can't get laid, but if a girl is still a virgin it's deemed exciting.

I myself have been a virgin until I was 22 and I don't regret holding onto my V-card for that long. Did I get teased? No, because I didn't have a problem with my virginity and therefore showed them it shouldn't be made into a problem.

It's a turn on, trust me. More than that, if you wait, more men will respect you. And any man who does not is not even worth talking to. The girls who tease you only do so because they KNOW they made a mistake. Be yourself, and wait for the right fellow. :) ps- 25, still a virgin, and very happy I didn't give it away to the village idiot I was dating. :P My virginity was the last shred of dignity I had left. Save it for someone who is truly worth it.

N91 agony auntNot at all, I'm a 19 year old male and was a virgin up until about 2 months ago, I waited for someone that was special to me and it was fantastic, I'm so glad I didn't waste it by getting with a drunken girl for a one night stand or something.

The guys are trying to talk you into the sack, and the girls who give you a hard time are probably jealous because they had sex at a young age and wish they hadn't. Girls can be bitches and guys can be real manipulating bastards (notice I said, "CAN BE").

No, it's actually a turn ON !! You have no idea how many guys wish to have a virgin girl and be the first one for them. I never had this privilege to be with any virgin girls because most of them give it up very easy. It's a rare thing and you should be very proud of it.. just for the record.. guys says "you need to get rid of the problem cause nobody likes it" because they want the girl to panic and give her virginity easily ! Trust me, I know cause I'm a guy
