A male United States age 22-25, anonymous writes:

Hi there, I am a 21 yr virgin male. When I was 16 my best friend wanted me to get a girlfriend for sex and I told about my virginity and also told him it takes a very beautiful girl to sleep with me. He taught about masturbation, how it’s done and how it feels. I promised him I would do it that night but I kept feeling weirder and I didn’t get any feelings so I stopped. When my hormones insisted I got many erections each day. One day I felt like something ran through my d**k and it had happened for almost three months, I went to the bathroom and masturbated, for the first ten minutes I felt nothing then I felt a strong sensation through me. I was determined to see what cum looked like, I came but it was the roughest moment even though it was extra sweet but I felt close to fainting. I was standing then I fell into the basin, I cried, and my d**k was torn. After that I got a very bad headache, which lasted for 10 minutes and I think I passed out in the bathroom. My sister came in and took me to hospital. Of course I lied to her and the doctor. I wanna try sex with a girl but I am afraid I will freak out. Look I feel ready to do it but I have a reason to believe I would be embarrassed in front of the girl when I pass out. So tell me guys, does it feel this way? Is there anyway to stay firm in this situation. Will the girl understand? Thanks yall in advance.

First off...just a little confused by the post; was this experience you explained the first and/or only time you have climaxed from masturbation? and was it recently? If it is...my guess is simply something not to worry about. Personally being sexually active for quite some time now, and masturbating for years, I've noticed that the longer you go without an orgasm, say a few weeks-month, the more intense it usually is. If you are 21 and have ignored natural urges and hormones for this long, it is likely that your body was just overwhelmed by the sensation, leading to the headache and passing out.

The body is really quite amazing, it has a tendency to adapt to whatever it is exposed to. Although it may sound silly, I'm guessing that regular 'practicing', masturbation, should let you become used to the feeling quite quickly, and should diminish or greatly reduce that unwanted feelings you mentioned.

As far as the understanding and embarrassment goes, if you are with a girl with any decency, and one who is aware that you are a virgin, she shouldn't judge you. On the other hand, to avoid sugar coating the situation, there are girls that would, ridicule you, for lack of a better word, if that same thing happened after having sex with them. On another note, if you lasted 10 minutes plus while masturbating, and could last that long in bed, and she knew you were a virgin, that aint' bad at all man.
