Question - (13 December 2010) 8 Answers - (Newest, 13 December 2010)
A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

3 nights ago I slept with a guy I met in a bar. Its the first time ive ever had a 'one night stand' sort of thing. Anyway, he asked for my number in the morning and we were texting for the next couple of days, but now he's stopped replying to my texts. I'm not that bothered about it but I have a t-shirt of his he lent me and I kinda want to give it back to him! Haha. But I'm worried that if I keep texting him he'll think I'm a stalker or something.

What should I do?

Thanks

Let him be the one to call YOU. Otherwise, yeah you are going to appear like a stalker. So what if he left his shirt? I use all my exes t-shirts they left behind as cleaning rags or as old shirts I use to dye my hair with.

Don't forget that just 3 days ago he was not in your life and you were doing just fine. So call up a friend or something instead just like you always would have before you met this dude. Don't put so much importance on him. Just go on with your life like you always have. Let him chase you. Good luck.

Danielepew agony auntHmm. Suppose I were the guy you had the one night stand with, and supose you told me, er, "Wonderful, I still have that t-shirt of yours with me. The one that makes you look irresistible. Yep, that one; you got me with that one, and then I saw your muscles. Wow... Well, erm, what should I do with that shirt?" I'd think for a millisecond and say, "My fair lady, won't you be so kind as to arrange a date and time for you to return my shirt to me? How about Friday morning at the Royal Opera House, right next to the funny statue?"

But that didn't happen. So I assume you want to see him again, but he sort of doesn't. Maybe he's busy at work, or whatever, but he could have replied by now. Maybe he doesn't want another encounter.
