 HEY!!
You have done great by getting the emergency pill. Now you have to wait until around 1-2-3 weeks after conception to talk a prgnancy test, just to be on the safe side. I think a doctors test will be reliable from the 1st week.

I am glad you now know it was a mistake and spoke to your mum, she knows the right things to do, and yuou were correct to take the M.A.P.
You problably are not pregnant however you should learn a big leason from this and don't male the same mistake again as its costly in more than one way.

 If you become pregnant your first signs are tenderness of the breast, missing periods,feeling sick, using the bathroom constantly, and many other things. The best thing to do though is to get a pregnancy test. But you usually wont no if your pregnant or not til the second week after intercourse.

reader, anonymous, writes (23 February 2008): Relax!!! Most likely you are not pregnant. Taking the Morning After Pill within 72 hours of having un protected sex is about 93% negative in your favor. The Morning After Pill should be used as an emergency contraceptive only! If you plan to continue to have sex you should look into some sort of birth control. Take it from somebody who's been through this situation...This should be an eye opener for you!!! If you don't watch it,you will end up pregnant! Please believe me having an abortion is not somthing I would not want any woman to go through! The psychological effects can last a life time. Take care of yourself and be responsible if your going to start having a sexual relationship. Good luck to you, My guess is you are NOT PREGNANT.
