I say you should think about what you want to do. And what would happen if you not working hard enough could do to your future.

Or another thing that works for me is when you set a time limit oif how long you should work... so say i'm going to do this essay for 10 minutes... and before you know it yor proper into your work and you find you cant stop.

Or cant you talk to your tutor and see if they could help in some way

I hope this helps

Best wishes

duce00 agony auntIm not going to jump on the ADD bandwagon just yet. I know alot about it, but lets take some more basic steps first.

#1 take care of your body. Get regular exercise and rest. This will balance out your hormone levels, make you more attentive and a host of other very nice benifits.

#2 Eat healthy. Stay away from heavy or starchy foods. Look into the glycemic index of foods. Simple carbs are just a rollercoaster for your bodies blood sugar. Complex carbs keep you going steady longer. Lots of people become very wacked out simply because of blood sugar levels.

#3 Watch the stress. This one is tricky, but if you do the first 2 this one should become easier. Stress is a really damaging thing. Im not talking about a little motivating pressure but the constant worrying and stomach turning kind of stress.

I hope these little tips help. I am in college too and its tough to keep balance in all areas of life. I dont even do these things as often as I should, but I know what to do when I start to get a little off.

PM me if you want to follow up,

Duce

Jualsy agony auntSo what do you have motivation for?? IF this route isn't right for you maybe you should choose something else. Forcing yourself to study may not be the answer if you could enjoy something else better.

OR, you could try the discipline thing, telling yourself that this time in so many months ahead it will be all over and you will have achieved something great.

Its all up to you....take control!!
