CarrieMagdelene agony auntI missed your last post, sorry. Have you ever had a period? Because, trust me, this might just be a coincidence that the clots started after he fingered you. If you've had a period before, it might be irregular, so the 'clots' are really just an early period. I myself would wait a few more days just to be sure. If it grows painful or you're in discomfort, going to Planned Parenthood, an STD clinic, or just the local clinic, would be a good idea.

As a personal story, a while back, I started my period randomly a few days early when my boyfriend took the liberty of fingering me. It was kind of hilarious, actually, because I'd stopped it for two days, and he started fingering me vigorously...and all of a sudden, woosh! All I could do was laugh and say 'you struck the Texas Tea!'

This could be your problem. Check with a doc to make sure, though. Just to be safe. :) Good luck and I'd love to hear how this goes.

A male reader, Dr. Mark Canada +, writes (16 April 2007):

In Canada, most large centers have a sexual health clinic. Call your local hospital and find out if there is one where you live. Check your yellow pages. They are very discrete, and you won't have to give out any information about yourself. I think you should go and see them to put your mind at ease. The nurses and workers at these clinics are well trained, and should be able to help you and give you the direction you need. If you have a close girl friend, see if you can get her to go with you for the company. I hope this helps!
