So, i have a platonic friend question. I really dont have that many friends and i have a few friends from high school left but they never really contact me..

I guess because they are always going out and stuff and i'm kind of shy and not all that big on going out but i try to get out as much as possible.

My question is: Do you think i'm doing something wrong by not contacting them and just letting them contact me?

Should i initiate a conversation once in a while or just let them contact me?

So_Very_Confused agony auntfriendships go both ways as do romantic relationships.

IF all you do is sit around and wait for them to contact you and you never contact them, they will tire of it and stop being your friends... there is only so much effort a human will make before getting tired of not having it reciprocated.

You answered your own question. Look how well not contacting them hs worked. If you want to hang out it looks like you don't have any choice.
