writes: I hate telling this, But im in need of a little advice. I'm 15 years old, and have been questioning for a long time now. I dont know where to begin.-I had my first lesbian crush to my 2nd grade teacher. Grade 2-5 i went to a very school private school and there were only 7 teachers and out of those 7 i had crush on 3 of them. for 3 years my teachers remain the same. There were only less than 10 students in my class and only 1 is a guy (which i had a little crush on)-I had a crush on my female dentist when i was 10-I moved to a different school (still a small school)im in 9th grade now and idk why for some reason i always have a lesbian crush on my teachers every year (there are only 2 male teachers in my school and theyre old. In fact I think im in love with one of my teacher :( I've had a crush on her for 2 years now. Ugh.-I've never dated anyone yet. So idk what i like! Some guys in my school have asked me out,but i always say no because they are quiet immature and a bit jerk. i want my first love to be real and last long. I dont want it to just end after a couple of days or just some random hook ups.- Uhm well.. my mom and some other people have asked me if im gay... Everytime someone ask me this it really hurt me idk why. I think its the fact that I dont wear that much make up and dont wear tight clothes or dresses (im very insecure about my body, im scared that people will see fat rolls. I would wear girlier clothes otherwise. -I've had crushed with guys before, but they dont last very long compared to my lesbian crushes. they only last for days or weeks. -I've never had a crush with any of my friends. I find myself only having lesbian crushes with teachers or some celebrities. Im so confused. I'm really scared. I have no real crushes on guys at the moment. Could you please guys give me any advice?

Im just scared of the fact that what if im actually a lesbian? How am i supposed to come out of my closet? I come from a religious family and go to catholic school. Everyone is straight. Im just scared that my friend will look ate differently and feel weird being around me (sleepovers, swimming, in change rooms, etc)

Hi there :) first of all, there is no reason to be scared! You are growing into your sexuality and you will continue to grow. It's normal to be figuring this stuff out at your age, and whether you decide that you are lesbian, bisexual or straight, you will be okay! The hardest thing to do as a teenager is to embrace who you truly are and stand proud. I don't think you should be worrying right now about what label to put on your sexuality, because you are still figuring it all out. If people ask you if you are gay, ask them when they realized they were straight? It's not easy to answer! And please don't try and stereotype yourself by saying that you don't look straight because you don't wear makeup or girly clothes, it's unfair on yourself. You will have people in this life try and bring you down but you need to stay extra strong and true to your heart. Good luck!
