 Opposites attract I suppose. It could be the taboo. I dunno. Why were you excited that your friend was gay? I mean was there something factual that you wanted to know that you thought only a gay person could tell you have to talked to him about it??? Was it just the fact that you KNEW someone who's gay?If it's not interfering with daily life/relationships with others... I wouldn't give it much thought. Just think of it as if you liked tattoos... and you found out that your fave celeb/friend had one. No different really - from my perspective.

 It fascinates you. Perhaps it's your fetish. It's not supposed to be explained, it's supposed to be enjoyed. So don't worry, just go with whatever makes you happy. And of course not all your friends like this... People are different after all. We all have different tastes and interests. Doesn't make you weird or not normal. Is your fascination with same sex sexual interaction causing a problem for you in other areas of your life? If not then there is no need to make changes or try to stop it. Remember: fantasy and real life are two different things. Being fascinated by lesbians or gays doesn't make you gay. It's just something you like to watch, imagine, think of.
