When i found out I was pregnant I didn't think I was ready either and to make matters worse the father didn't want anything to do with me. However I struggled through a very lonely pregnancy and honestly it's the best thing I ever did. She is such a ray of sunshine and makes everythin worth it. I think if ur mature enough to have sex you should face the consequences especially if u and ur partner are still together. Ur probably a lot stronger than you think, you're just in panic mode right now.

Well have you checked if you are pregnant? If you live in the US, you can go to a planned parenthood and they will get you a pregnancy test, if so then you can schedule an abortion. But you need to make sure someone knows you are having an abortion. seriously, they can be dangerous. Fortunately thye typically have good doctors there who know what they are doing, but please make sure someone knows just incase you start bleeding extremely heavily. Anyways first thing is first check to see if ur preg i hope that helps go to plannedparenthood.com to check it out.

I mean what if your period is just going through an Anomoly? It happens.
Get a pregnancy test, and then go to the Doctor to confirm or disprove the results.
Don't abort unless absolutely necessary, and I mean if the medical issues for the child are going to be so bad that it will not be able to survive a good life anyway.
You aren't the only person to not be ready for a child. No one ever really is. But they get through it and learn along the way. No one can be a good parent on their first time out. They learn and then apply that learning.

In the UK you can get an abortion at your age without anyone having to find out but I do not know the laws in Trinidad and Tobago. I had an abortion at 27 and I wish I hadn't because I think about it a lot but at the time I didn't think I could cope. Do think really carefully before you make this decision. Anyway this is all very early days so get a pregnancy kit first from a chemist where they don't know your parents and then take it from there. 24 is not that young and you would cope and I am sure after a while your parents would come round but do a test first.
