There's this thing called "Puppy Love" -- and it's real love. They call it that because you're learning how to do it, not because it doesn't feel every bit like real love.
It's wonderful that you're feeling love now, but the chances that this one will last are not very strong. I would write her and keep up a friendship for now. If the chance to be together again ever presents itself, you'll have the friendship to work from.
But don't turn away from any local girls at this point. All learning is good.

a phone call i guess! its better in person, but if not, at least speak to her... don't do it via an email/text if you can help it, it seems a little impersonal.
although will you ever see her again? if not it might just be wise at your age to move on. i'm not accusing you of not knowing what love is, but you've got so long ahead of you you will find someone else who you can acutally phyiscally be with. and plus emotions and stuff like that are messed up big time for teenagers, and your not even there yet!

I think your best bet was to tell the girl you love about your feelings back when you were in the same country.. now it might be hard to convey the feelings, at your age I don't really have any realistic advice to give..
If it's worth it.. Hang in there...
Good luck.
