I went through something very similar earlier this year (although I had been sexually active) and was freaking out thinking I had warts. Howver, there are several other comon skin conditions that can imitate warts, the most common being "Pearly Penile Papules" (benign skin tags) that affect 30-40% of the male population and usually show up between the ages of 20 and 40. The percentages tend to be even higher in uncircumsized men. I would not be overly worried if I were you, go get checked out for your own peace of mind...

 Hey. Dont worry. Take a look at these bumps. Notice that they only go as far as your hair follicles travel up your penis. The skin on the penis is very sensitive.
And get tested. Might as well know for sure. Its what I did.

 Although genital warts is associated with an STD it can be caught via other means as well. So dont panic!
There are various cures for it though and they are said to be rather effective.
