writes:i know this might not sound like a serious problem but its really getting me down. I flirt too much. i am serious. I flirt with everyone (not women obviously) but any guy, any age over 14, even if its terribly innapropriate (teachers) which is the problem. Teachers. I don't know how to control it and today one teacher actually metioned it. He was joking but then I actually think that i flirt all the time. he wouldnt even joke about it if it didnt cross his mind. does this mean im a bad person?thankyou

reader, anonymous, writes (30 November 2007): No it doesn't mean that you are a bad person hunny. You are just not sure how to act around certain people and the fact that you're worrying about it shows that you want to do something about it.
I guess its gonna be difficult to stop flirting - (I'm jealous, I have a real problem flirting as I get self-conscious!! lol!) Anyway, just try to tone it down a little. Think before you speak.

flirting is a social skill actually... but you should be more picky while flirting... the best solution is that you start thinking for a sec. before saying anything to anyone
