If you are already pregnant before taking the morning after pill, ur still pregnant, it just stops it happening if it hasnt already. Are you talking about the abortion pill that brings on a miscarriage in the early stages?

You need to use condoms and hormonal birth control if you don't want to get pregnant.

 Hi. I used to work in a pharmacy so hopefully this information will help you. The abortion pill only works for up to 72 hours after initial sex, so technically you could get pregnant ANYTIME after that. It is not like taking birth control, its a one shot deal. And please use caution, the "morning after" pill should not be used as a routine contraceptive..it does have side effects and can really throw off a woman's menstrual cycle.
