If you haven't had your cycle at age 17, then you may want to contact your doctor.  For the sake of the person who asked: hymens are not tight seals. Most have a small opening and sometimes more than one. So, if you have heavy petting and semen falls on the vulva, I would suspect, Mother Nature being the way she is, that some semen could crawl all the way up to the womb. Unlikely, but possible, I guess. Bear in mind I'm no doctor.
Some women's hymen doesn't have any perforations, and that causes problems when they have their menses because the menstrual flow can't get out. I understand that doctors make a small incision to let the fluids out. I am not sure, however, if, even in this unlikely case, it would be entirely impossible for spermatozoa to swim their happy way up. I'm not sure if these hymens could impede the passage of such small things.

Just to clarify again, one can actually become pregnant if you're a virgin when you do this heavy petting thing? How can you become pregnant if y ou're virgin? It sounds like a mother mary thing or something?

I think we should need clarify a point :-). Your vagina is the opening that leads to your cervix. It seems to me that your real question is whether you can become pregnant if your boyfriend ejaculates on your vulva, which is the outer organs. Yes, you might, provided the semen can crawl all the way up. Pregnancy wouldn't be as likely as with ejaculation inside your genitals, but it could happen.
If you don't want to become pregnant, semen needs to be effectively apart from your eggs.

Yes you can. Your hymen has lots of small holes in it. Thats what lets you have a period. If the seman gets into the vagina it can easily pass the hymen and you could get pregnant.
Be safe and use some sort of birth control.

 best bet is not to do it, if you want to do it then go on the pill safety is best first when it comes to this unless you want to be pregnant..why not try dry humping or foreplay.. hope this helps aphexy xx

Why take the risk?
Safer is always better than sorry when it comes to pregnancy. Put some jeans on.
