only tell them when you get serious about them because otherwise girls could think you are telling them this so you can win points to get laid! you don't have to tell every girlfriend do you? fine if they ask, be truthful but no need to tell them anything if they don't ask

 Just want to second Jmtmj's advice. Virginity will tend to make it tougher to get dates, butif you tell a girlfriend who already likes you a lot, I'd be willing to bet she'll like it.

We live in a highly sexed world and while some girls may think it's cute others want a guy who knows what he's doing.
That kind of thing is best left until you're at the stage where you will get intimate with a girl.
It's not something any girl needs to know until there is a possibility of it happening or if they ask.
You see it won't necessarily increase nor decrease your chances with that many girls, most don't care at all. But some may be put off by that and well you want to give those girls the chance to get to know you first, because even those girls won't care if they've actually gotten to like you.

 Honestly it can go both ways. Some girls will think it's sweet and endearing and will be moved or thrilled to be your first. Some other may be suspicious and take it as a sign of hang ups, lack of self confidence or inborn nerdiness.
I guess it all depends from your personality and motivations. If you are a reasonably sociable guy with a relatively outgoing personality and no particular problems in approaching people, and you just have decided that you 'll wait for "the one ", I think no girl would consider your virginity a turn off.
If you are extremely shy , insecure or unassertive, they may feel your virginity is a negative point.
In concluson, it 's different whether you never had sex because you preferred not to,- or because you felt you could not make it happen.
