If I have my name on any documents regarding sharing/living in another property, then I won't be able to take over my dads home! Suggestions?

is it possible for me to move into my mates flat with her and pay half of everything (bills, food, e.t.c)

without putting my name on the lease or on any of the bills?

you see im supposed to take over my dads house if anything happens to him but if i have my name on anything to do with sharing/living in another property then i wont be able to take over my dads home! please help! x

Hi

I think this poster is referring to coucil propertys. If she says she legally stays with her dad then she will be able to keep the house if anything happens to him, i must advise the sometims check this up, but if she adds her name to her friends flat and the coucil find out she could lose the right to her dads house, as she would be giving false information regarding where she was living.Poster is this what you are referring to?
