writes:I really want to have a real relationship with a girl, but i'm really bad at starting up that kind of thing. i tried to find some groups and sites and such to help me meet new girls and get to know them, but everyone just seems to be there for the sex and honestly i want to build a relationship with her before i jump into bed with her. it's even harder because i have to do this without getting attention from my parents(who're both against liking the same sex like the plague) or my sister. anyway, like a lot of people i want to connect with someone, but everything seems to end with a dead end. i'm already really shy, so talking to a girl i like is already hard....so i guess it's not so much a question as a need for help....where can i go to find a girl who's actually looking for a relationship and not some screw because they think it's kinky or exciting or something.

 Have you tried a dating website like match.com or eharmony? Eharmony in particular advertises itself as a relationship site that matches people on values etc. Both of these sites match same sex partners - it might be worth a try if you really want to meet someone!
