writes:Hey, I race Late model race cars all over my country, but about a month ago i had a serious accident in which my car flipped over 7 times they say i hit the wall at 140 my car caught fire and they had to drag me from my car. in that accident i broke my Left arm and shoulder and 4 ribs. i have to go in for surgery to get my shoulder operated on to remove some crap thats there; i think pieces of my bone. im not too sure. but i keep telling Girlfriend its going to be fine. but she doesnt listen and she keeps worring and is all nervous and doesnt want me to finish the rest of the season when im fixed. She oviously loves you very much and doesnt want to see you hurt let alone the worst. If i was he id feel the same you almost come to a dead end so shes scared it will happen again. If it's what you really want to do talk to her and tell her you will be more careful and you wont get hurt again. If she doesnt understand then it's up to you what you do then.

You could have died. She nearly lost you. It's no wonder she wants you to quit.
Sit down and talk to her about it.
You have to decide what's more important, her or racing.
I'm married to a soldier so I can see her point of view but she knew you were a racer when she met you didn't she?
She has to either learn to stand by you or walk away.
Talk her through all the safety stuff in your car and all the rules to protect you. Reassure her.
You both have to make a decision on what you want and then stick to it.
