A male reader, anonymous, writes (22 February 2011):

Ok, your thought about losing your virginity to the girl you truly love is honorable. However you will regret it when you get older (and wiser). College is the best place to learn about many things; including sex. Once you graduated and work in the real world, sex doesn't come as easy as college. You will have much less experience in bed to make your wife/girlfriend happy. If you are unlucky enough like some men who start to have mild ED(Erectile Dysfunctional) in their 30's, you will blame yourself for not enjoying your sex life when you had a chance. I'm older than you and have gone through/seen those. Choose wisely young man. You can only be young once.

Captain Ziggy agony aunt

You're in university. You should have learned by now that sex is sex, it involves no visable or lasting bodily changes, unless you call getting a hard on a "body change" for men or woman. Its not puberty man, and you're not going to get pregnant.

If you want to go have sex, then to have sex, if you want to wait, then wait. Neither is right, nor wrong. You're old enough to decide these things for yourself.
