Right bit of a problem here. Now as you all know it is soon to be Valentines day and I have never had a bf on this date. Thing is I've recently (last week) got together with one of my close friends who is a good 20years older than me. Now I don't know whether it would be too soon or too over the top and cheesy to get a card or a present or to even celebrate the day. On one hand I really want to make the most of this opportunity but on the other if he doesn't get me anything I will be mortified! What should I do? Would appreciate any help other than buy something and hold onto it to see if he gives me anything first.
