I want to know about him but don't want it to look like I'm hitting on him

Hello!

I recently met a guy friend and it seems that we get on well and have bonded over a few subjects. However, there are a few minor problems, I think I like him but I can't be sure because we don't see each other very often, and when we do speak its only for a couple of minutes at a time.

We're friends on Fb and have chatted a little over it, however to be sure that I do like him or we continue just being friends, I feel I need to initiate a longer time to get to know him more. How do I do this without it looking like I'm hitting on him/asking him out on a date?

Thanks :)

It might help to make it a group thing, make sure you use your own form of transportation, and pay your own way. Doing those things will (hopefully) send the message that this is a "just friends" activity rather than a date. during that time, you can chat with him if you want to and it won't send any mixed messages. Some ideas are bowling, put-put, supper at a pizza place ... neutral activities.
