I don't think this is a good idea. And I'm not sure how much you know about this guy. The Home Office has to have a very good reason to deport someone, especially someone who has a work permit and is working. According to the Human Rights convention that the UK is signed up to, you can't deport someone unless they pose a threat in some way (law breaking, past record etc). And if someone is ordered to be deported, they are nearly always allowed to lodge an appeal. If he totally failed, there is a very good reason for it. And maybe you should not have anything else to do with him.

 I guess he is going to have to find a way to get into another country... It is impossible to go to Iraq right now. Travel there is prohibited for civilians because of the danger.
