writes:Right theres a party on new year, I said to my mate that I will go there and get completly out of our faces at party. I asked my GF what she is doing for new year she says she doesnt know and asks me. I told her im getting drunk at that party. My GF and mate hate each other to the ground, she then says 'oh im alone on new year again', and when ever I go to say well come to party she doesnt want to and then I told her that I'll come to hers and have drink but she says oh no go to party sarcastically....What should I do.?

reader, anonymous, writes (24 December 2007): tough one-my advice would be to go to your girlfriends because she is alone and it seems like your mate has friends at his party, or for a copmromise take your gf to the party and tell your mate ur bringing her - if he is a mate he wont mind-but its ultimately what you think best-wether you really like this girl, wether your mate is a really good mate ect. Go with what is best in your mind and don't let anyone else make the decisions for youMerry Xmas and New Year
