I expect your friends are more concerned about their own problems and issues than to spend a lot of time thinking about YOUR life. You're not the centre of their lives.
Just live the life you want and date the girl you want to date.

Read that and you'll have an idea of how she'll probably feel about being kept a secret. If I was with a guy, either we're together properly or not at all. If you don't want people knowing about you and her then she'll just think you're ashamed of her and she'll feel really bad about herself. You need to decide what's more important. Hurting her feelings or pleasing your friends. If you're so worried about what people think then you're not really ready for a relationship with her. Its not fair for her if she has to be kept a secret.
If you like her as much as you say you do and if your friends are true friends then you should be able to date this girl with no problems.

If you like her, ask her out and don't be afraid to let others know about it.
