writes: i have been planning this for time so just need to know what you guys think. i really like this girl. we've dated before once. we havent talked properly since due to busy at college. i wanna ring her and tell her i need to talk to her it's important. when i go see her on valentine's day i want to give her flowers and card. i just feel it may be awkward! what you guys think? and what exactly do i write in the card? any hints tips or ideas? thanks

 What a lovely idea! If I was you I'd say something like: 'I just wanted to say that I think you're great and these flowers are to say thanks for the wonderful date we had. I'd love to go out with you again soon and hope you feel the same. If so give me a call and let's plan something'. Use your own words though! The important thing is to write what you feel and mean what you say. Good luck!

reader, anonymous, writes (9 February 2007): write whatever comes from the heart as long as you are honest. the words coming from "YOU" means the most rather than having other people tell you what to write... yes, write whatever even if you think they're silly :]i am sure she will appricate getting flowers and a card from you when you go see her. did the date go well? do you two click?? if so, it shouldn't be akward at all. i'd suggest delivering the flowers and card "yourself." if not, place the flowers and card on her car winshield. wouldn't you want to see the expressions on her face??priceless, right? :]

well if you dont think you can cope with seeing her as to getting it all wrong and tongue tied why dont you send her flowers , and put a card in the post or through her door the night before saying from your heart how you feel. dont worry if you think its silly as long as you mean it. Say you think about her, tell her you mean to ring but the head rules your heart and you back out, say you want the chance to be with her and if she feels the same im sure she will respond. get her to meet up with you (for a drink or something to eat or a walk), put it on a card with the flowers to meet at a place that is special for both of you. Say how you feel is all you can do. I'm sure it will be fine just go for it if you dont you will regret it.
