i recently got a tatoo on my hip bone, and as soon as it finished (it took bout 20mins) i wanted to get another one! the pain of gettin a tatoo is known to be addictive. however saying that, i dont believe it hurts at all. you go numb at that spot after a while. i have my tongue and belly button peirced and i would rather get another tatoo then get my belly peirced again! i say go for it! it dont hurt!

I guess it just depends on how well you deal with pain. I personally don't think it was that bad at all. I believe if you can get piercings, you're capable of getting a tattoo. What is a 2p? If I knew what that was I would let you know, but mine that I got only took about 1 hour, if it's smaller than mine, I'm sure it wouldn't take as long, but you never know, just depends on how much detail and color you want also. Some people stand pain better than others.....I don't think it should be bad though. Like I said, just don't really think about it and just think how awesome it will look. It would probably hurt a little less if it wasn't on the hip bone. If you really want it, don't let a little pain scare you away. Be strong!!!!
Let me know what happens!!!

*Jess* is verified as being by the original poster of the question is kayla right??? eep. scary. I also wanted to ask, does it take a really long time? I'm thinking of getting one about the size of a 2p. if its not directly on my hipbone but slightly across from it, will it hurt less? xx

The tattoo on the hip bone isn't the worst, I can tell you that. If you can stand a little pain, you'll be fine. If you can get your belly button pierced, I'm sure you can get the tattoo, especially if it's not really that big. I have a pretty good sized one on my hip bone. It was my first tattoo and I remember it didn't hurt WAY too bad where I told them to quit or anything. You should be fine, don't worry. Just when they're doing it, think of how awesome it will look when they're done, you know?
GOOD LUCK!!!
