I want sex more often than my boyfriend, what's up with that?

Question - (27 January 2010) 1 Answers - (Newest, 27 January 2010)
A male Australia age 36-40, anonymous writes:

I am looking for some insight into my boyfriend so if you think you can shed some then please do!

What I don't understand is how he can really enjoy sex yet not want it very often.

He is about 40 years of age, enjoys sex, finds my attractive and sexually I am open to anything. Despite being available to him at any time he won't have sex any more than twice a week. In fact the prospect of more seems to horrify him and I just don't understand it.

He thinks I want it all the time (he's right!) and everyday and the way he says it just makes me think sex everyday to him is some kind of deadly nightmare he must avoid at all costs.

What's that all about?
