writes:im a 16 year old girl and i need some advice. i consider myself to be friendly and cute.ive had lots of boyfriends before, but none have lasted longer than a few weeks. about half of my boyfriends have dumped me for one of their ex's, or has cheated on me. im starting to think im not really as beautiful or nice as everybody says i am. i really just want a relationship that will last longer than 2 or 3 weeks. i just dont know what to do anymore.

reader, anonymous, writes (7 July 2010): I can understand how you feel but you must understand that nothing is wrong with you. Stay just the way you are. Like the other poster said, its more likely you haven't found the one for you yet. You don't need to look for someone matching a set criteria nor should you log the weeks trying to set a new record. Find someone that you feel comfortable with, that you can be yourself with and trust me time will march right on by with you and the guy still dating. Also, don't be afraid to look outside of your comfort zone, maybe join a new club at school and take in some other extracurricular activities that places you with some guys you haven't gotten to know yet.
