OK, a few months after i started yr 9, i fell deeply in love with my form tutor. I just couldn't help myself, she's gorgeous! anyway, everyday, i try my best to get her attention, walking noisily and trying my best to be noticed. She doesent seem to be interested and i could never her tell how i feel.

I dont know what to do! Am i bi, or straight? I'm so confused. I need help! What should i do?

A female reader, Emilysanswers United Kingdom + , writes (20 July 2008):

Having a crush on an older girl / woman is perfectly normal.

You are still growing and are basically a back full of hormones at the moment. You may get over it and marry a nice boy and have a million babies. You may stay this way and never want a man in your life. You may like men and women.

Enjoy your crush and don't worry too much about it as it all may change in the next couple of years.

I wouldn't do too much to make her "notice you" as if she realises you have a crush on her then she may have to inform her boss, and they may talk to you about it, inform your parents and other horribly embarrassing things.

Admire her from a distance.

Good Luck!! xx
