Hoping someone can help here. I have a very good friend who I am worried about. She went through a divorce last year. Her mom is in a nursing home and she insists that her mom will not last the year but her mom seems fine. More troubling is the fact that she has quite a few pets, a couple of cats, a dog and a horse and she has had them all euthenized claiming they were not well, in pain ect. Again these animals seemed fine to me. She has since replaced with another dog and cat. She has had a boyfriend since her divorce and openly cheated on him and he broke it up. They have since got back together and she says it is a compatible relationship because neither of them wants anymore and they are not in love. Seems to me my friend has her values pretty backwards right now or is it just me. There is something wrong here and I cannot quite name what it is. Maybe someone here has some thoughts. How can I help.

pepper27 agony auntHi Hunny

It seems as if her life has completely changed sinse the divorce and she is a little all over the place and even confused hunny she may be feeling just fine but from what you have said it all really depends on how well you know her and Im taking it like this is a complete change of personality to you..Yes her mum being in a home doesnt mean she wont last long putting the animals down then getting more is very strange as I cant imagine all of the animals being ill at the same time, But would someone do this if they were not love? Meaning the vet...Her b/f who you say she has cheated on and she doesnt love so forth..You know the only thing I can possibly think of is after her divorce she may and I say may be scared to love again and that could mean anything for fear of loosing..I could be quite wrong hunny, But you as a friend can only be there for her and be the best friend you can all this may come out with gentle questions as you cant rush something like this..I understand your worrys as I cant imagine why a vet would put fit and well animals down and you cant no for certain what is wrong with her mum if she is not telling you and you wont no she could tick along for years sweetheart..Be there for her Ive a feeling she will need you very much one day hunny TAKE CARE WITH LOVE AND PRAYERS MANDY XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
