A male United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

So after some time trying to get over a friend who's in a relationship with someone else, he tells me, when we're both a bit drunk and talkative, that he 'really fancied' me when he first me me.

Well that's that progress out of the window.

Where do I go from here? I feel even more that I missed out on a chance that I never took. I have been thinking about it all day.

A female reader, anonymous, writes (13 November 2012):

If he is involved with someone but tells you, when he's had a drink, that he fancied you - I'd think no more of it. If he is free at a later date, you could revisit the issue. But don't be 'played with'. Take anything he says when having had a drink with a big pinch of salt.

Well you'll have to ask him when he's sober or keep him drunk. LOL.

Dear Mandy agony aunthi

you don't mention if he has now got involved in a man or a women? if the later , then it seems he may be struggling to face the fact that he may be gay. If with another man, then I suggest you tell him were to go because his pulling on your heart strings. either way you don't deserve to be treated like an idiot, so go find yourself someone who will love you just for you, and wont play with your feelings .
