You should be defending her to your friends. What do you they know? Tell them to lay off, and that you care about her, and what they say is disrespectful. If you love her, don't break up over what a bunch of immature highschool kids have to say.

 This is typical of a young lad like you and you shouldn't feel bad about it. You're young and you want to be young so just embrace that and get out there and have some fun! Don't get tied down. Your friends call her because they're probably jealous because you have a girlfriend and they don't but if you're agreeing with them, it shows immaturity and that you really don't care for this girl as much as you should.
You both deserve more. Either let her go and have fun with your mates or stand up for the woman you claim to love and tell them to stop saying nasty things about her in front of you. It's your choice.

Surely if you love her to death, then you have a duty to defend her to your friends? Why exactly is it that they hate her? Is it because they perceive that she is seeing more of you than them? Or is it because you have run her down to them? Whichever way, you need to examine the reasons why and take appropriate action based upon this. And if its the case that you are agreeing with them that you shouldnt be together, then is it really fair upon her to stay in this relationship?
