When the summer ended, so did we and have vaguely kept in touch in the past year. I have just enrolled at a new college after my last year went badly at my previous one, only to find he is my lecturer for this year.So i'm basically asking for the best way to handle this, i'm still slightly shocked as i wasn't expecting to see him again, it was a plesent surprise non the less, but it's still seeming wierd.Any advice would be great, thanks :]

This can be a little awkward. However, as it seems you have somewhat parted ways without any ill feelings toward one another I would just let things take the course it will. Don't push it but on the other side of the coin don't try to avoid it.
If things are meant to resume where you left off, then it will come natural. If not, you will know that as well.
I hope things go well for you in any case. Doc.
